scream His name

How good are you at keeping secrets? Are you one who can hold very important news for a long amount of time or do you immediately share news with others?

I have learned that sometimes it is best to keep news to myself, especially when I have promised to do so.  While other times, it is important at to share news- even SHOUT the news to everyone I know!

Have you heard the story about Jesus and His encounter with the woman at the well?

In John chapter 4, Jesus appears to a Samaritan woman at the well.  Jews and Samaritans did not typically associate with each other, however Jesus approached her and began speaking with her.  The woman had no idea she was speaking to the Jesus, the Messiah! At the end of their conversation, Jesus says to her “I, the one speaking to you — I am He.” (John 4:26). Suddenly the woman realized who she was talking to and she was shocked!  She ran straight into town and told everyone that she had found Jesus! Without any hesitation, she screamed of the Lord's presence!

Experiencing the Lord's presence and having a personal encounter with the Lord is so crazy and beyond exciting! When something like this happens- an exciting moment in your life and faith, be confident you can share this with those you come across.  JESUS should not be kept in secret! He calls us to "share the good news." And through Jesus, our news has the potential to impact the lives of so many!  If Jesus has touched your life in some way don't hide it- share it!  Without hesitation, scream His name to the world. Make it known. He is worthy of all our glory, honor and praise. Your life with Jesus shouldn’t be a secret.  Jesus died for you in public, stop living for Him in secret!

Scream His name to the world- rejoice and be glad in it!
