talking to your bestfriend.

Who doesn’t love texting, FaceTiming, or in this day in age, snap chatting with their best-friend? Personally, I pretty much do it all the time!

I like to catch up with old friends, and talk for hours with my best friend.

I don't know about you, but when I text my grammar is all over the place, and I use words/abbreviations like “fr” and “so true”.

This may come as a “huge” shock to you, but I’ve never found those words used in the bible, as it was written 15 millionnn years ago!!!

Words in the bible look a lot like “thee” and “thou”, leading us to sometimes be like “huh?” It’s easier for me to understand my best-friends wacky texting words than understand some phrases in the Bible!

“Thee” and “thou” are not meant for our vocabulary, and we don't have to pray using those words!

Prayer is not even meant to be perfect. It’s not meant to be like a text you read over and over to check for perfect spelling and grammar.

God honestly doesn’t care how you come. He welcomes all kinds of feelings and doesn’t look for perfect grammar.

Just like you spend all day talking to your best friend, spend some time talking to the best of the best. To the only friend guaranteed not to leave you. To the one who made you!

Talk to Him because He’s your best friend. Talk to Him like He’s sitting there right next to you. Use even the weird words/abbreviations! Come as you are!

God is so eager to hear from you, and He wants you to know that nothing you say to Him is supposed to be perfect!

Talk to God, about anything and everything.
