the waiting season.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14
One of the most challenging parts of being a Christian can be the waiting season. You know, the season of life where all you want is control, or answers for something.
The waiting season of life is a tough one, and one we desperately want to get out of as fast as we can. When we are waiting on God, we can begin to doubt, and give up.
Which are the very two things God doesn’t want us to do. He wants you to trust in His plan.
So, here are my thoughts on getting through the waiting season:
DO: worship!
In a time of waiting, we can worship. We can praise God and thank Him for what He’s already done in our lives. We can thank Him for the little things, the trees around, and the sky’s above! There is always a reason to praise the Lord, even when we don’t want to.
DONT: give up!!!!!
If you say you have faith, you gotta have faith. Like seriously! The Lord never fails, and His plan never changes. He is stead fast, and perfect in every way. I promise you, He has a plan, and a perfect time to reveal it.
DO: seek Him!
In a waiting season, seek Him first. Get into His word, pray more, and be intentional with God. Tell Him everything that’s on your mind, and read the truth that only He provides.
DONT: ignore Him.
It is pretty easy for us to just continue to walk through life, and not acknowledge who’s gonna provide for us through the waiting season. Don’t ignore God, and don’t put Him on mute. He knows everything.
