even the unqualified

If you would have asked me just a year ago if i would be writing blogs, I would have told you no, you're crazy. Never did I accept my life to change so quickly. I had dreams to become a doctor, and was one who hated to write essays. Writing class was not my jam, but here I am writing full on blogs for the world to see.. The Lord has some crazy plans for us!

  When I first felt the Lord call me to this work, I was scared to jump into it and very confused on why He wanted me. There were many more qualified people out there who He could have chosen, yet somehow He chose me. I believe everything happens for a reason, and to watch what the Lord has done through my writing, is more than I could have ever imagined. 

  It’s crazy how much the Lord has taught me through this journey, and continues to teach me everyday. I will continue to express my imperfections, because I am nowhere near the top of the list, but I am so thankful that I don’t have to be. We walk with a God who is fully equipped, and equips us more and more each day. 

 Most of the time the Lord doesn’t call the most qualified to do a job. He sees the unequipped, believes in them, and makes them well equipped for whatever it is He calls them to.

  God knows who He is calling, and it's no mistake when He calls you. 

 Whenever you feel the Lord nudge you to something, go! Don’t worry about your qualifications or abilities. The Lord is the one who is qualified and He will help you each step of the way. 

 Maybe you feel incable, not prepared, or underdressed… whatever it is, let it go and remember the Lord has every capability you think you need.

   Seriously, let go, let God.
