hope in the heartache.

  Recently, I attended an Anne Wilson Concert for her “My Jesus Tour”. If you haven’t heard of Anne Wilson or listened to her music, I strongly encourage you to! She is my favorite Christian artist!

 In her testimony, she shares the story of how she found hope through heartache. I am currently reading her book, “My Jesus, From Heartache to Hope.” 

 In her book she shares the story of her brother dying in a car crash a few years ago. She, her sister, and her brother were very close with each other and shared many great moments together. 

 During her concert, she went into further detail about the moments following the news of his passing, and shared what their lives looked like after finding out. 

  She writes that just minutes after the news, she heard a voice inside her head- it was God. “For the first time in my life, I heard God audibly speak to me. “Anne, are you going to trust Me, or are you not?” (My Jesus, From Heartache to Hope, by Anne Wilson)

  She responded by telling Him yes, and from that moment on she trusted the Lord with her life.

   Throughout her book she just shares the moments of peace her family felt throughout their grieving journey. 

  We all go through seasons of heartache. Maybe it’s not a death, but a break up or a lost friendship

Whatever it is, trust God. I know, it sounds hard to do because we all want control. But the one who knows the beginning and end, our tomorrow and future beyond, is the Lord God Almighty. Let HIM lead. 

   Answer YES to God.
There is hope in the heartache, and there is a bigger plan for your life.
